About TJG Media & Design

Built from creativity. Grown through relationships.

TJG Media & Design is a Chattanooga-based creative company founded in 2005 by Phillip “TJ” Pressley. What began with websites and graphic design has grown into a studio working across print, web and media for businesses, organizations, artists and creative projects.

Our story

It started long before TJG had a name.

Phillip’s introduction to the creative side of business came early. At 13, his love of Southern Gospel music led to an opportunity with Young Harmony, where he served as the group’s webmaster and was involved with its fan club. That experience brought together websites, music, design, promotion and working directly with people to help present what they were doing to an audience.

By December 2005, that interest had grown into TJG Media & Design. The earliest projects centered heavily around website design and management, particularly for artists and organizations connected to the music industry. As clients began asking for more, the work naturally expanded into logos, business cards, CD and DVD packaging, promotional pieces, display graphics and other forms of graphic design.

It was not a planned transition from one type of company into another. TJG simply kept growing alongside the people it worked with.

The tools and platforms have changed considerably since 2005, but the approach has stayed simple: understand the client, create work that fits who they are, and build something that can continue growing with them.

Today

Print. Web. Media. And what comes next.

TJG works across print, web and media — from visual identity and printed collateral to websites, social content, artist and publishing artwork, and more specialized creative needs.

The common thread is the brand.

A website, business card, menu, social post, publication or custom platform should still look and feel like it belongs to the same organization.

Built for what comes next.

For projects that extend beyond a traditional website, XANSETORI gives TJG another way to build custom, client-branded digital systems around real workflows.

How we work

Relationships over transactions.

Some of TJG’s longest relationships started with one project. We are happy to create the one thing you need today, while still thinking about how it fits into what you may need tomorrow.

Start with what belongs to you

If there is an established brand, good website content or existing creative work worth keeping, we build from it rather than replacing things just for the sake of replacing them.

Keep everything connected

A website, menu, social post, business card or digital system should all look like they came from the same organization.

Build for what comes next

Many TJG relationships grow beyond the original project. The goal is to create a foundation we can continue building on as the client grows.

Connect the right resources

When a project needs something outside TJG’s scope, we believe in helping connect the dots with a trusted professional or resource that fits the project.
